(this is important to me so am posting it here too since I have just not been able to totally re-direct people to the new blog. Looking at the stats, the daily traffic through here is not be sniffed at! So till I fix it, I shall continue to post key blogs here for those of you who may not click the link!)

Make my birthday heart happy!.
Give to Raziela Foundation (20 to 26 May 2013).

It is exactly seven (7) days to my birthday. Seven is my favourite number and this is why I have chosen to send this out today. I pray God breathes on this post more than ever!

I want to believe that come Sunday , the 26th of May many of you will be sending me heartfelt words wishing me a 'Happy Birthday'. But what if I told you there was a way to do more than wish? What if I told you how you could guarantee that my birthday will be happy, would you be willing to do it? I mean, why wish, when you can be sure?

Here is the thing. In my life, as an adult I have only had one party. Actually, it was not really a party, it was more of a lunch and it was when I turned 40 five years ago. It was such a great time and even as I remember it right now, I just thank God for all those who were with me that day.

As the month of May 2013 came around, I had a dream of doing it all over again. I have been through so much over the last five years. You would not believe it if I told you. I wanted to have a lovely dinner party during which I would celebrate my life and all the awesome things God had done for me surrounded by all those I cared about. People who had been there for me over the last four decades. I had planned it all in my head but as these things go: Salt proposes, God disposes and God has disposed that I shall not be having any dinner party this year. So be it.

However, there is one part of my plan that God has agreed to allow to go on. It is the part where you help me to do something tangible to mark my 45th year. If you agree, you will guarantee me being even happier on my birthday than ever before. All you have to do is give N2,000.00 (or more) towards the good work being done by my favourite charity - The Raziela Foundation. Raziela is dedicated to providing educational opportunites to the 'poorest of the poor' children in our society. If I was a celebrity cook or marathon runner, I would cook and run for this charity. I am neither but I do have good friends like you out there and on my birthday many of you want ( I hope!) to wish me well. I am saying to you: Don't just wish me a happy birthday. Be sure I am happy on my birthday by giving to the Raziela Foundation. Please?

I really hope you feel moved to do so. If you are, here are the details:

Account name: The Raziela Foundation

Account bank: Zenith Bank

Account number: 101 256 2182
Branch: Adetokunbo Ademola Street

Remarks: HBD Salt!

Thank you so much in advance! I know you cannot 'bribe' God but I promise you Raziela Foundation is fertile ground. When you sow here, you reap and you reap well! That's not bribery, it's biblical!

@ Pastor Bemigho Omayuku (the founder of RF): *ducking your cyber-smack* sorry for not telling you about this but knowing you, you might have tried to stop me. But it is my birthday and I think I have the right to choose how I celebrate it! Please let me know how much comes in to the RF coffers by close of business Monday, 27th May 2013 so I can share here. I guess then we shall see how sincere their happy birthday wishes are! Abi? Lol!

I have noticed that many of you follow me too but it looks like you still have my old URL cos the last blog posted by me on your own blog is 'The Diary of DNW has moved' which I posted HERE 5 days ago just to re-direct you to the new blog - The Salt Chronicles - and share my new URL.

So please, please please, can you update my URL on your blogroll settings? It should now be : http://thesaltchronicles.blogspot.co.uk/. If you don't, after today, your blogroll will only feature the 'stale' blog from this stub blog instead of the new one on 'The Salt Chronicles' blog.
